The River Walk Restaurant and Banquet Facility is located in the historic Harvester building which is in downtown Sioux Falls on East 6th Street. The River Walk Restaurant opened in May, 2003 in the old warehouse that once housed International Harvester tractors and parts. This unique space offers 100 year old wood floors and beams and original brick walls. After renovation, the restaurant's wood floors shined once again and its doors opened to the public as The River Walk Restaurant and Banquet Facility, home of Sweet Indulgence's decadent desserts, delicious, gourmet coffees and original lunch and dinner items made to order for our special customers. We have also added select beers and wines as a beverage choice.
The River Walk Restaurant offers 2600 square feet of dining area and three private meeting rooms. The smallest of our meeting areas, The River Room, will accommodate 16 people comfortably and can be reserved for smaller meetings or get togethers. It also has a television, VCR and DVD player available. Our banquet facility is located in the lower level of the building. Both rooms will accommodate 100 people comfortably. This space is available for larger meetings, receptions, dances and any get together where a larger space is needed. It can be rented by the hour or with catering services.
Our Facility Manager will meet with you to help you plan your get together so that all aspects are covered. It is our goal to make each and every experience at The River Walk a positive, memorable occasion. If your gathering is larger than 200, the entire restaurant may be rented.
The River Walk Restaurant and Banquet Facility hours are Sunday and Monday, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 am - 9:30 pm and 11:00 am through Midnight, Friday and Saturday. Sunday we offer brunch with live music to enjoy while you eat. Our restaurant offers live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night. Music is provided by local artists and is free to the public.
The River Walk Restaurant also has one of the best outside, covered eating areas in Sioux Falls during the summer months. This area can also be reserved for that special party.
